What to expect when you work with us

We start by confirming your licence type, because mainland companies licensed by the economic department of your emirate and free zone companies are treated differently under Corporate Tax. For free zone companies we test whether you can be a Qualifying Free Zone Person and what income qualifies for the 0% rate.

• Review your licence, activities and ownership structure
• Register for Corporate Tax and VAT where required, and obtain your tax registration numbers
• Set up bookkeeping so records are ready for returns and audits
• File VAT returns and the annual Corporate Tax return before the deadlines

Corporate Tax returns are due within nine months of the end of the tax period, and VAT returns within 28 days of the end of each tax period. Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain clients work with us by video call, phone or on-site meeting, so routine filings do not require travel.
